Was wondering if any of you guys have run a kilduff lightening rod shifter? Was looking at the one mounted to the full console for my scamp. Anyone heard any good or bad about this setup? A lot of money if the console doesnt fit or the shifter is crap.

They're awesome. I dont have one in my scamp, but tried one in a yokel buddies GM and its ripper. You can beat it like it owes you money, hold up really well. Kinda overkill unless you plan on a lot of hard pedal/track time.

I’m looking at one for my dart as well. Looks like they did one for a 68 Dart for SEMA. Looking for more feedback. Thanks

Been looking at them for a while. Wonder how well the console they make would fit in my scamp?

I’m having a RMVB put in the transmission right now. Looks like it may be easy / fun on the street. Plus, I think they look great and seam solid.

I want one myself as I was gfoing to put a lenco in my dart until I lost my right leg and had to settle for a 727 rmb but still need more input too

You will love the engineering and functionality. The looks at the cruise nights are pretty hilarious. 727 RMVB but I swapped out the A/T brake pedal with a clutch one last weekend. Fake Lenco. : )

I’m going with the one that started it all!!! I know some will say it’s not functional for racing...some will say it’s not original! Me...I just like it because of the cool factor and that I got a killer deal on it!

Good for you in finding a killer deal! They're pretty rare and the only bad thing is nobody services them or has parts anymore.
I fell in love with them when I bought my '83 Hurst Olds off the showroom floor 35 years ago.

I picked up my new Kilduff direct from Brian at Spring Fling in Van Nuys yesterday. He was there with his Challenger.
It's going to look, and work, awesome in my '69 Dart!
Not only is it very impressive to look at, but it's extremely well built.

...and my wife took one look at it when I got home and said, "Well, I guess I won't be driving your car when it's done."
LOL

You shoulda seen the looks at the car wash back in mid-80s! "What do I do with these?!"

Yeah I remember when they came out...I was 15 and I have wanted one of them since...never had a H/Olds but I had 3 87 Monte Carlo SS’s and a ‘86 442 a friend had an H/Olds and it Just blew everyone’s mind when they looked at the shifters
