Sway bars for a 73 duster

-
Any recommendations on brand. Was thinking about the firm feel bar.
  • Hard to recommend a specific one cause I’m still running just a stock bar, but Firmfeel, Hotchkis, PST, Hellwig all make good bars. Any of them will make a big difference over running no bar at all

Depends on how much money you want to spend? And your skill set level?

Right,
Depends on how much money you want to spend? And your skill set level?
like maybe see which one will be the easiest to install. Like one with tabs that bolt on to your lower shock bolt rather than ones that need welded to the lower control arm.

Not sure? My car has tabs on the LCA so I went with factory bars. Someone will chime in on that question. Sry can't help you more.

I put a Hotchkis front sway bar on my 73 Duster. Made a huge difference. It also came with weld on LCA tabs which I needed.

I have a Hellwig front bar and it made a huge difference over stock. That was the first suspension upgrade I did, then I upgraded the rest. My vote would be for Hellwig because they provide a good quality part for a good price. You can get them on Summit Racing and with free shipping since it's over 100 bucks.

I have PST front and rear sway bars on my 74 Duster and I am very happy with them.

Were you able to use the factory mounting tabs on the LCA? I'm looking at PST but want to make sure I can use my factory tabs with their 1 1/8" thanks!
