This has been a very interesting conversation about original head gaskets. Stroker402 needs to continue building his 273 with the gaskets he has and may be someone will take a virgin 273 apart that has steel shim gaskets and we can get a bore measurement and put the myth to rest. I will be excited to hear this thing run. The cam is like the E-4 but more lift. Don't forget videos.
