thought I’d seen a picture somewhere. Jus wondering if anyone has adapted a modern Ram or Dakota air cleaner setup into their A-body mopar?
If so what did you use. Any pics would be a plus.
Thanks

if you're talking about the carb hat piece, it'd be hard to even stroll through a junkyard for the price of the ebay intakes...

We’ll yeah that’s a good start and you can’t beat the price . I was thinking of taking it a bit further and try to draw air from in front of the radiator support or from the fender well. Possibly use the whole air filter box like this pic.

thats pretty cool! someone in the coffee club did a setup very close to that... lemme see if i can see who.

Yeah I don’t know who’s setup that is, or what year/model parts were used. Or what mods if any had to be made to the inner fender, or just the hole in the radiator support

I was lucky to find that old carb hat for my 390 Holley, the filter box was from a 4.0 jeep, I have to say it helped more then anyone could imagine :thumbsup: cool fresh air being delivered to the intake made my little /6 very happy, where I put the box there was already a hole to keep the battery cool, I moved it to the trunk . I will be looking at using it with the 360 if I think the filter will be big enough for the 360

I did the same, pulled air from in front of the support I may have to get a filter box like the one you posted for my 360

@memike

your insights are needed!
Looks like a good move to getting cool fresh air to the carb :thumbsup:
