you may not have problems, but the last summit kit i helped with on a friends challenger came with thin *** pipe compared to what my tti and the local exhaust shop supplies and the hardware was also thin cheap crap..
Like I said, I have a kit that arrived last week from Summit. No, it isn’t the thickest wall exhaust pipe I’ve ever seen, nor is the hardware the best I’ve ever seen. But I’ve also seen cheaper hardware and thinner pipe. I weld all the connections anyway, so I only need a few clamps and I buy a couple of better hangers. Still money WAY ahead.
For the price TTI charges, that crap should be gold plated. Seriously. It’s way more than twice the cost after you’ve shipped it.
My point was that the Summit kits I have work just fine, and have held up great. I drive my Duster year round, it gets parked outside year round, and almost 5 years later it looks great still. For everyone parking their car inside and driving less than 6 months out of the year it’ll last forever. No, the quality isn’t the same as TTI but neither is the price, not even close. The summit kits are great kits for the money, and IMO the TTI kits are way overpriced for what they give you.
