MARCH 13 a spring relocation kit was listed up for sale by glue man another member on here . BEWARE. March 14 he got back to me w shipping costs and stated he would package it up and get it out .my sons 15th birthday was March 22 we were celebrating it sat March 24 ,on March 23 Matt gets back to me on fabo tells me he apologizes he just got package out ,I will have it Monday ... told him it was for sons bday but not big deal I wrapped up a set of leaf spring from a 1/24 scale model dart and I would explain.thursday March 29 I finally receive package with 2 spacers o weld into the frame and the leaf spring perches to weld on the rear no shackles no spring boxes , he calls me tells me they were bouncing around in his truck for the time between me sendin him the money and 10 days later shipping them . He put everything in the box and shipped it without any packaging peanuts or foam or wrap or anything . I know for a fact that razor sharp pointy metal parts loose in a box is not a good idea well apparently the box was cut open and the shackles and spring boxes missing . He then proceeds to tell me its not his problem and he’d file a claim w USPS . Fast forward another week he tells me they covered 50$ and that’s what I will get returned to me . At that point I packaged the parts that did arrive and shipped them back , and would like a refund .then he stated it not his problem . 2 days later he tells me he thought about it and is going to refund my money 4 days later it still has not been deposited in my pay pal I request he return the money he callls me retarted and shady states it’s been put back in my paypal . Procedes to blame me and tells me he’s not refunding anything so out 145$ for initial purchase another 15 $ to ship back the parts that did arrive . Honestly it’s buyer beware n the $$ part is what it is but this f&^%(*@ scumbag screws my son over and calls us shady n retarted .... he’s a lucky son of a ***** that he lives in Omaha n not closer to new York or he’d have no teeth left in his mouth because I would have brought my son w me to watch me do dentistry w a ball peen hammer .sooo after at least 15 transactions on here w great members included if members who have accomoidated me traveling all way to New Hampshire on Christmas Eve to buy my son all sorts of parts we finally got bit. BUYER BEWARE GLUE MAN is a scumbag

I’m done dealing w him if u could read the texts he sends me u would see how it’s sucks for a 15 yr old to realize this car community isn’t all good guys even tho I know 99% are . I have had great experiences on here and on fbbo we’ve bought engin block for his 451 build n the seller threw him nice oem valve covers another member here we bought heads from threw him head gaskets n othe small parts up in New Hampshire a member here couldn’t ship all parts I was purchasing w enough time to get them for Christmas so he waited on Christmas’s eve for me I jumped a ferry from longisland to conneticut to get up to New Hampshire to scoop up a pile of parts he had them all ready for me so I could make it back to longisland for later that night . I will still continue to give members here the benefit of the doubt but just want others to know this guy dosent give a crap about youth continuing this hobby all he cares about is he got paid

Hey Glue Man, step up and be a real man, make this right.

word to wise: Insure EVERYTHING to your resale value sent through USPS. It only costs like $4 and its worth it.

I shipped a Canon AE-1 to a guy...lost with tracking, guy tells me 3 months later he never got it. That one was out of my hands as I tossed the tracking receipt after 2 months and apperently they cant reprint a lost tracking number...? He waited too long to tell me to submit a claim.2nd time a month later: I ship a Banks turbo housing (heavy cast iron in a well made/backfilled box with that kevlar glass tape, bulletproof) baseline $50 insurance as I got tracking on this one and was watching it. Well, it says delayed out of St. Louis to first sub station. Delayed? then I check again...never made it to first substation so I'm on it. I call USPS and they tell me the same info off the website. I run a trace and the postmaster at the first substation never received it and looked for it on "the shelf" where mystery no address parts end up. Nothing...I share all my emails with USPS with the guy (im still getting monthly USPS lost status updates!) who's super understanding at this point and we both agree that this thing is lost so I refund the entire price shipping and all. He tells me how "good a guy" I am and I just reply what else would anyone else do? So fast forward 3 weeks and I get a check from USPS for $73, $50 and the shipping cost of $23. They lost it WITH TRACKING!!! All the stuff ends up in Atlanta warehouse where if its not claimed...(By who and how???) they sell it at auction by the pallet or give to local goodwill. USPS asked for a sales listing (Fedex did too when they broke my cast iron stroker crank flange) when I claimed the part was worth $460 but I failed to insure it to that price like a fool.

Yes it’s always risky I sell mostly Harley parts and buy mopar parts , but the idea of him calling us names and not taking any responsibility in packaging or the delay in shipping has put me over the edge I never once even contacted him in the 10 days I was waiting for the parts because I work my *** of for a living n I get that sometimes it takes time to handle this stuff during the course of the week w work n family and kids sports and weather , after paying promptly waiting and exceSsive amount of time then getting 25$ in parts and topping it off w an attitude that this is all on me well I do t need to deal w that . Bad business . Shouldn’t sell parts if u are not willing to put out the effort to package and ship in a timely fashion , and worse cast blame on purchaser who had absolutely nothing to do with that end .. well up here in New York in person it would be handled much differently he can hide out in Omaha and call us retarted and shady for paying promptly my sons learning everyone’s not a stand up man

Buying from sellers with positive feedback is the best. Not 110% perfect but most guy with good reputations are stand up dudes...
Or dudettes...

I tell you one thing. After reading your p.o.. I will never do business with you.

Any man that threatens to bash in a person's teeth in front of a child over a couple hundred dollars is not someone I trust to do business with

unacceptable

oh brother.. must be the seller under a different name (someone check the ip address) or a good friend of the douchebag seller..

sounds to me like someone who know that two wrongs dont make a right

oh brother.. another buddy of the douchebag.. coming out of the woodwork now..

what the OP was doing is VENTING. something i guess lost if not from the north east..
I have my opinion. Could not care less if you disagree

Sorry to read this in an environment I would hope for more from!

However; it is up to US to police it!

what a candy ***.. someone messes with either my kids i'd kick their *** too.. the seller is the one totally out of line here.. apparently by your reply you think its ok what the jackass seller did. that should make people pretty hesitant to deal with you at all..

I had a guy try to scam me out of a plasma cutter...he was in Marrietta, Ga...
Me in Wisconsin. I drove to GA and parked in front of his driveway blocking everything. Took an hour to get my stuff...

That is not messing with his kids. Give me a break. Anyone tried to harm my kids, my response would be as violent as needed.

Going to Jail for 10 years because someone ripped me off for 200 bucks doesn't help my kids at all.

I stand by my words

Seems like a fair approach to the situation. I think your method was perfectly acceptable
