Running the 71 Dart in my avatar. Did DW for the first time last years and it was a blast! Made a lot of friends. Car was in the low 12s/high 11s last year so I wasn't very competitive in Street Machine Eliminator. Needed to average 10.97 to make it in the top 32 to get into the bracket race on the last day.
On the way home last year I told my wife, "by God I'm making it into the top 32 Bracket Race next year". So..... The magnum 5.9 is getting a Procharger and 10 lbs of boost. Shooting for 10.50s this year. It's all stock junkyard bottom end so I assume it will scatter at some point. The. I'll build a forged bottom end and turn up the boost
