Why Do You Like Old Cars

The problem with modern cars, is they age horribly. They are too complicated and made with plastics that self implode after a decade. My shop has been in business since 78 and with every year, there is more and more electronics and less metal in cars. Even the grade of plastics used is less. You can have a 10 year old modern car with plasics that are brittle and fall apart anytime you look at them, but my 66 belvedere's plastics are still soft and look good. I want to see how they hold up after 50+ years.

yea because e a 70 ebody plastic int was so nice and held up so well.. give me a break..lol

had my 01 toyota for 8-9 years... had 180k on the odometer. all the plastic in that car were still perfect when i sold it.. loved that little car. the plasitc in my 07 toyota was still perfect after 8 years and 160k too.. hell out camry was 8 years old with 100k on it and all the plastic in that car was still perfect when we traded it in on our subaru...

not sure what the hell you re working on or if its the weather there but i have totally different personal experiences.
