LD340 and NHRA

Thats what im saying. It is not a factory, assembly line part.
My question is, why was it EVER legal ?
It should have NEVER been legal in the STOCK class.


The reason is because these parts are becoming scarce. That particular cast intake was a what, a three year deal on a limited run of models?

Accepted legal replacement parts for stock began with connecting rods, blocks, cranks, and now cylinder heads.......the consumables. Eventually the LD340 will be legal again as these parts continue to dry up and the whining in stock subsides.
