Parting out fresh 360

Thats exactly what I came up with !

Well....minus the math. Lol
That is awesome!
Guess what, I looked up your altitude, and it looks like 2500ft; and you know what that means; more cylinder pressure is permissible!
Now you can run that 10.9Scr with closed chamber IRON heads for a pressure of 165psi and VP of 141@an ICA of 64*
That is very good number to come in at, because of the .039Q!
It could be a small torquey cam..... or a powerhouse. Guess what,that could be a
262/268/114, with overlap of 36*... for fuel economy.
268/276/112, with overlap of 48*. The 112LSA is good for an automatic.Here's another;
270/276/110, with overlap of 53*.... still with an ICA of 64. Or,
272/278/108, with overlap of 56*.... for a stick car. Or
276/284/108, with overlap of 64*.... if you just want a screamer. Or
I could go on, but we are leaving the realm of streetability
That 276 cam with fast-rate ramps could be [email protected] which is a powerhouse street cam, at 165psi.
But one caution; the pressure,165psi, is right on the edge of detonation for IRON heads, and will require premium gas when she's working hard. I think that with .039Q, it will work. If not, just retard the cam 2*, or install the .039gasket for .011 more Q, now .050; and call it done. This is with iron heads.
How did I get 10.9Scr?
62heads+2.3deck(.011)+5eyebrows+6.3gasket, totals the all-important total chamber volume of 75.6cc. The swept @.030 oversize is 748.3, soooo
(748.3 + 75.6)/75.6=10.902 ..... now working with IRON heads at 2500ft altitude.
