Time to order wheels and tires.

This is true, most of what I do is just math. That’s especially true for the rear wheels.

The front is more complicated obviously, and that’s where actually having mounted a bunch of different size wheels (and the biggest ones that will fit) comes in handy. Because the diameter and backspace is not just set by the tire fitting between the body and frame, but also the tie rod end clearance, ball joint clearance, body clearance when the wheels are turned, etc.

Exactly...Sure, it's just math but things like the travel of the front suspension and steering, tire deflection, the effects of alignment specs and how they change with compression of the suspension and steering, etc. isn't obvious to everyone and it's not as simple as just getting a tape measure in there.

I appreciate that someone with first hand experience, patience and the ability to explain things to people without making them feel like an idiot, is willing to share their knowledge and time.
