Ford to focus on Trucks and SUVs???

I've had two Ford trucks over the years. First was a hand-me-down '69 F250 with a 390 that carried 9.5' cabover camper during early family vacations. Never had a problem with it and took it some places (without the camper) that it should never have gone. Eventually sold it to my brother-in-law who continued to drive it for several years.
Second was a '77 Ford F250 SuperCab with a 460 that I bought brand new shortly after our daughter was born since we needed the extra room the SuperCab offered. That was also an excellent truck that carried the same camper on some vacations and then transitioned to pull a 32' 5th-wheel when the family grew and we needed more room. The only peculiarity of the 460 was it got the same 8-10 miles to the gallon whether the truck was empty, loaded with the camper, or towing the 5th-wheel. Again, it was an excellent truck. I eventually gave it to my son as his first vehicle when the truck was 20 years old and he drove it for several years.
Bought a used '95 Dodge Ram 2500 Club Cab with a V-10 in 1997 and used it as both daily driver and to pull the same 5th wheel on vacations. The only problem with the Ram was the transmission that was rebuilt once at about 50,000 miles. Sold that truck a few years ago to a fellow club member who continues to drive it in his business and has had no problems with it.
Current truck is an '09 Dodge Ram 1500 that I love. Bought it used and haven't had any problems with it.
