I did Drag Week on a Princess Auto set of trailer tires and axle... one tire went flat on day 3 so I hit it with a can of fix a flat to keep going. We never went over 60mph with the trailer but the bearings would get pretty hot after about 50 miles of driving.... I would not recommend an across Canada trip with small tires.
We have towed a 6x12 enclosed to Kelowna from Winnipeg behind a 74 LTD a few times and it can get interesting in the mountains both going up and also coming down some of the steep sections...
