A 1974 Duster - My 2nd one, 41 years later!

^ I can definitely feel it today...that I put in hours and hours of hand sanding. I'll be taping off for the black today. 2000 grit & 3000 grit sandpaper ordered. Moving forward closer to putting glass back in! Ordering 1974 side panel/tail area stripe kit.

In my effort to get this DONE...The day when I was spraying my car Brock
bvt69dart stopped over with his 69' Valiant that had just been cut and buffed. His car and the paint looked amazing. I asked who had done the cut/buff for
him. He said he had done the sanding to 1500 and then a Denver shop: "Cars, Remember When" had done the final sanding steps, 2000 to 3000 and then the buffing and polishing. I called Scott over there and have an appointment to meet with them tomorrow morning at 9 am. I am taking the trunk lid to him so he can get an idea how my paint (the clear) will buff out. He said he is a Mopar guy and would love to help me with the final paint polishing work. So, I'll be doing all the cutting and Scott at Cars, Remember When... will be doing the pro polishing. I am thrilled.
