Its been a long road to finally get my garage built and get the lift I’ve always wanted. So stoked to have it installed. Lookin forward to many long nights, many beers and music while wrenching on my MOPARS. I’ve been away too long. Glad to be scratching that itch that’s been nagging for some time. Not only that I’ve got my twin sons to hang with and teach them the ways of the MOPAR force.

Ok,taller door. Still looks a little snug. Nice lift!
New (looks like) or used?
Regardless,im sure you will be happy with it. And the jack is a nice feature. Do need a rolling tray, in order to get both ends up in the air.
I have trays on either end, jack in middle. Jack up front and bottle jacks on tray to pick up rear. I use mine every day.

Putting a winch on it?here’s what i did

2 pieces of c-channel,studs welded to bottom one, pipes to top one. Then a reciever for winch. Can set it wherever, center or either side, depending on situation.

Got the same one, your back's gonna thank you, and you'll make a lot of new friends! lol

I do have a winch. There is a tab on the cross beam that I use to hold down my worm drive winch. I lower the lift onto the winch to hold it in place then use an electric drill to run the winch. Works amazing.

Ok,that works.
I needed one quick, had the winch and was thinking about it for a while. In a pinch i came up with this. Dragged in a full size dead dodgesickle....

I got the idea from another site when researching lifts. They ran threads into the cross beam. I was thinking I would put in a couple of 3/8 drop in concrete anchor sleeves flushed to the floor but this came about serendipitously.

I went with the HD-9. Yes space is tight but making it work

Oh yeah I sprung for the rolling jack and also got the adjustable bottle jack tray. Can get all 4 wheels off the lift no prob.

It’s a little tight but 11ft ceilings help. I have the casters so I can move it outside too.

Mine wont go through the door very easy. 11’ wide,10 foot door.

Just under 10ft. Might need lube
Had my garage built and the first Builder I was going to use was was going to cut the trusses out in the garage ceiling so I had clearance. They were going to be 10 ft walls. The second Builder I want up going with said for $800 I'll give you 12 foot walls. I I said sign me up.

My friend has a 30's bungalow in SoCal with a one car garage (part with the window is a 6' square for the laundry). He put a Bendpak 4 post in there to put his '70 Cuda on, yes there is a fully restored E-Body on the lift over the 68. The garage door is pointed right at the bumper, you can see the bumper guards hanging. The lift needed to be centered on the roof and not the door. When the 70 was just a raw shell roller there was just enough room to lift it to release the safety's.

The 68 is a 340 4-speed survivor, bench seat, PB, MS
The 70 is also a 340 4-speed 2-tone car white (painted) roof on a blue car.

Bend pak now makes a more narrow lift. For those hobbyist with really tight garage spaces.

I wanted to get a Greg smith lift but the runways weren’t wide enough for me to drop a kframe with motor.
