manifolds or headers

Nothing is perfect. If you can get the correct manifolds. Check for cracks and warpage. Have them machined flat, use good fasteners that will not loosen up. The pros are that they are quieter and usually have more clearance around them in the engine compartment. Or use TTI or Dougs headers. Not cheap but will last a lifetime with the Ceramic coating, and have no ground clearance problems. Just follow the manufacturers instructions and they go on and off easily. The coating helps reduce noise and heat. They cool down quickly and helps the engine perform better. I've gone both ways over the years and it just boils down to personal preference. they both work great.
