Radiator hose question

My old radiator I used a hose from a 70
Challenger , it wouldn't fit this app. I have enough old hose ,maybe I can mock one up
and see if I can match one up

Last summer I put a 318 in my car with a high-volume water pump. Normally I run an electric water pump. But anyways it was sucking the lower hose and making it collapse. So I had to get one with either a coil in it or something made of a stiffer material. and this one just happened to fit the bill. It's very stiff and couldn't collapse and could coil in any shape I wanted it. Just ask the guys at the auto parts store to let me know on the back wall and see what they had. I always thought these hoses were kind of cheesy but this one just happened to work great and is really stiff material. Oh yeah and I forgot it was kind of expensive for a hose!
