Here are the results and point standings following completion of the NHRA Southern Nationals Powered by Mello Yello , the seventh event of the 2018 NHRA season.
Congratulations to 'Back in Time' (FABO) for winning "Top Picker Eliminator" title with an outstanding point total of 132.5 points. He picked the class winner in Funny Car, his Top Fuel and Pro Stock picks lost in the semi-finals and his Pro Stock Motorcycle pick lost in the second round of eliminations. 'alsant' (FBBO) was the runner-up with 125.5 points.

Now we get a weekend off before the 8th race of the 2018 season, the 30th annual Menards NHRA Heartland Nationals presented by Minties, is May 18-20, at Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka, Kansas. As always, your picks need to be posted before Pro Qualifying starts on Friday, May 18 in order to qualify for all event bonus points. Pro qualifying is scheduled to start at 4:30PM EDT (1:30 PM PDT). The Heartland Nationals entry list is posted on NHRA.com and currently shows 17 Top Fuel, 16 Funny Car and 14 Pro Stock entries, but the counts are subject to change.
