Well, she just got out of the shop.

I dont know maybe its the sun, but this doesnt look like Dark Turquoise to me.

I think it looks good otherwise for the price.

I'm not familiar enough with that color to say, but I think it looks pretty good.

it's hard to say for absolute sure, but it looks about right to me. Maybe it could be a little darker, but like you say, it might just be the sun.

Just watched fast and loud and they were trying to match 20 year old paint. It was a PPG color originally and they got the paint from them. Didn't match. They talked to the original painter and the paint calls for a white base, but he used dark gray, but also the EPA forced a change in the paint itself so it sprays out a different color. So, just because its the "wrong" color, it could be the primer is different or the paint composition has changed. Or its just wrong.

That's truth.... .A paint color shade scanning is available...,but the original hue ,was lost.
Unless you have a actual factory part ,polished to scan.. "Just my opine "...

looks awesome love that color looks correct for dark turquoise to me! not to be confused with dark blue poly

Looks close to B7 from here but it is pretty. I would be real happy with that.

Don't take this personally but........I'd be more upset that someone didn't take a little time to remove some of the trim before painting than the shade of turquoise. You would've gotten a better job by removing headlight trim, door handles, tail lights, etc. Really, the outside mirror is held on by only 2 screws.
My 68 is LL1, Surf Turquoise Metallic. Don't know if it matches the surf or not but it's a medium turquoise to me. Shrugs.
