Stop in for a cup of coffee

Adding Nitrogen in the form of NH3 (ammonia) to reduce NOx seems an odd way go about it. Ammonia is fairly caustic, must be hard on hard parts. I can see perhaps as the NH3 breaks down and produces H2O it would reduce the numbers of NOx simply by adding a higher concentration of H2O to the overall combination. The added free Nitrogen isn't a concern? I hate it when I have these flashbacks of reason
