can you explain the difference between x pipe and h pipe sound or are the any videos out there? Looks I will go with the 2 1/2", I doubt I will ever go for any more HP (lack of funds)
X-pipe tends to have a higher pitched sound so to speek,creating more of a smoother sportscar sound. there is plenty of videos on Youtube with comparisons,and i believe there is a thread on this site aswell with a bunch of soundclips,keep in mind that the same exhaust system can sound different on different cars with different enginecombos and some of the drone problems can difer on the same exhaust depending on enginecomvo/trans/gear/tiresizecombo.
I worked for over 10years with exhaustsystems and i never got anywhere near learning everything about the subject but i did learn that being alitle conservative tended to give a whole lot less trouble with cars ending up being to loud on longer trips.
