I put 5 gallons of av-gas in an old tank, told it would clean out the old crap.
After a week of sloshing it a couple times/day i poured it out,it was as clear as the day i got it. Put it in my truck and burned it.
Acetone, on the other hand-made quick work of that black tar that was in there.
