One easy way to tell them apart is the shape of the pans. 727s have a bump-out on th RF corner.

So I'm pretty sure just going off of the pan, that it is a 904. But it still got that crazy long tail shaft. Came back with some pics for you this time. The one sitting on the plastic is the long shaft, the clean one is the slant 6 Short shaft. Just going by the oil pan it looks like a 904...
