Paint is craze expensive any more...:BangHead:
Thats also a gallon of epoxy primer,a set of durablocks and a whack of abrasives...i got a deal-at body shop cost. I picked 70’s mopar burnt orange. It looks bright! V7 sound about right?

I'm going to go buy a better air compressor. I want one to air up the truck and trailer tires nothing else. I'd like one small enough to put in the trailer when I take extended road trips.

Thinking the eight gallon size, quick recovery, 150psi??

Don't want junk any recommendations??
Have you looked into a 80cft nitrogen tank and regulator? That's what I use in my truck and trailer. Plenty of pressure, up to 150#, and you could use with air tools if needed. I have mine strapped into the bed of my truck, but you could mount on the wall of the trailer.

You can also use CO2 cylinders that hold quite a bit more volume since CO2 can be compressed to a liquid and kept that way at normal temperatures.

Thought i was making decent time, replacing suspension bushings on a camper trailer, and checking brakes/bearings.
Wrote up the bill with my time. Called customer and gave him price for the work. I then realized the office clock was 1-1/2 hours slow, needs a new battery. Doh!

I got the front shocks on my Dakota this afternoon, installed some much needed right angle grease zerks and adjusted the torsion bars. I even de-rusted the wheels amd gave the old girl a bath.

I ended up getting a 8 gal Kobalt, oil-less, 150 psi, think it will do the trick.

Crawling around under a trailer all day reminds me why i like my hoist so much.

Thanks Bud. I reduced the size of the ones I posted to fit better on the 16 oz bottles. I will just run them through the paper cutter to shorten them up. No-one but us will ever know.
I'll be drinking one of those brews in about 10 days...won't say a word.

Our Sears is closing and we were considering buying one of their garage door openers. Since they are 25% off now. This is the one we were thinking.

Welcome to Sears.com

We have a 9'W x 8'H insulated door it would be going on, our 3rd bay and only gets used to take Grimace out. Thoughts on this opener?

Oh also where the hell can you exchange broken craftsman tools at now?

I havent returned anything yet, but I did bring the ratchet with when I went last weekend. They didnt have anything left on the shelf to even make an exchange.

Don't exchange them. The new craftsman stuff is absolute junk and has been for a few years. About a year ago my grandfather decided to trade in a bunch of his old craftsman 1/2 and 3/4 in drive ratchets cause they were just plain wore out, well the new ones last about 4 months before all were junk. Plastic gears, plastic selectors just plain junk. If you have a pre 2000ish ratchet, check with your local snap on rep, they can sometimes rebuild the old ones using the snap on parts. It'll cost you 25-30 bucks but worth it. Again, from first hand experience

That's fun Dave. Ya, that was a old scanned photo. It would be lucky if it was 35mm.
If I spent a few hours really working it, I could probably make it a lot better. But ‘tis late and I will save the effort for another day. :D

Dumbass night all around for me.

Australia called an hour ago to make me engage in what they thought was a brilliant idea (makes more work for me) that they didn’t think completely through. 15 mins into the conversation and I torpedoed and sunk all of their ideas and then reworked the problem and gave them a better solution that will be more effective....and also means they have to to do the extra work.

Then I got an email from a consulting client through my company that decided to make stupid edits to my comments on an FDA document and circulated it for review as if it was what I wrote. I shredded his *** up one side and down the other and made it painfully clear that the next time he edits my comments he will find himself standing alone, surrounded by his own stupidity and I will be in the bleachers eating popcorn while I enjoy watching him be eaten by the FDA lions....and I copied his CEO to highlight what a dumbass he is.

I have little patience for the fools that fail to engage in discussion before drawing conclusions on subjects that they have little understanding of while surrounded by experts that they can learn from.

Time for bed, it is far too late to be up typing responses and summaries of the evening’s stupidity.

I need a vacation from this madness.
