Road Trip Down Under.
Not real big road trip, but this weekend I'm cruising with the missus on a 500 mile round trip to MotoEx here in Melbourne, Aust. in my Plum Crazy 71 340 Dodge Demon. It's the biggest most prestige motor show in the country. Chip Foose & SEMA will be there. They have a "Street Heat" section within the grounds of the show for those cars that aren't trailer queens but get driven on sunny Sunday's. I do approx. 4000 miles a year in my Dodge, a trailer queen it ain't. To be eligible to enter this class, photos had to be submitted before being accepted. 400 cars was the cut off. I suppose it's to eliminate the crap cars who want prime parking within the venue. Next 3 days 70 degs F, sunny, bring it on, I love road trips. Don't think my fuel bill will be that great with the Holley HP 750 DP & the big cam.
