Just removed my instrument panel on a 73 Duster.need to check wiring and replace the instrument bulbs. Would like to clean the circuit board while it's out. What do you recommend?
Thanks,
Fred

Non chlorinated brake cleaner.

Are you trying to clean the copper portion? If so find a pencil with an eraser and it will clean them right up. You don't have to be aggressive at all.

Agreed also lemon juice works wonders on the copper.

What ever you do do not use sand paper, scratches the copper and invites corrosion. Pencil eraser and alcohol.

I use Barkeepers friend.
you can get it at Home Depot, Lowes,or Walmart. Clean it with that, wash with dish detergent, then rinse with water, air dry and it will look like it's brand new.

Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing 90%) and an acid brush. Cut the bristles short for a little scrubbing if necessary.

Plain rubbing alcohol to brush on all over and soak up with a clean towel.
Deoxit on a q tip to scrub the bulb socket contacts. Squirt the bulb in the socket with deoxit before installing. Cotton pipe cleaner to scrub the connector contacts with deoxit.
Solder flow any fractured joints especially at contact pins.
