Hood scoop opening

I was just wondering if removing this amount of the center of the hood would weaken the hood to the point where it will make it flex more i guess, want to install this scoop its the srt one but want to keep the steel hood. Just want input on structurally intergrety. Scoop will be riveted then the body shop can fill and blend to the hood.
