1978 440 Help and Questions

I need some advice on the 440 that is in my 1978 Ramcharger.I have read the threads by IQ52 on low compression motors, but things have changed a bit.. I just want a good running smooth motor for my truck that is fairly efficient. This truck is stock with 3.55 gears...full time 727/np203 drivetrain.Block and heads are at machine shop...it has been bored 30 over and I got a set of Wiseco PTS531A3 Pro Tru forged pistons for it to raise the compression to around 9.8 to 1.Also got a set of 440 Source rods.Stock 452 heads are just getting freshened up...getting new pushrods, rockers and valve springs are fine.I am going to get a Summit SUM-6400 cam and lifter kit as it is better than stock and you can't beat the price at $117.My question is how should I install the cam for my application...straight up or advanced? Also, it is a cast crank motor...what should I do about balancing?I don't have the rods yet, but when they arrive I will weigh both new and old assemblies and post up the difference. Thanks in advance for your help!
