Father-Son 1974 Duster Project

So...the function of that particular style of coil over shock is to slow the compression and increase the rebound?....so it does not function like a 50/50 rebound /compression shock?

I haven't seen them in years ......and when I did they were always on the rear of some big tank /station wagon. Interesting.
These shocks were used on light duty Ranger pickups back in the day. This old school hot rod guy who owns this run of the mill auto repair shop swears they are a must have on A-bodies with stock suspensions. I am no suspension guru but I'd guess they slow the compression. All I know is Misty goes fast and can go around a corner now without feeling like she's gunna flip over! Best part is, my high school car went fast and felt like it was gunna flip over and I liked it....
