I've been keeping really good notes on the costs for my rebuild, and what has surprised me the most is how the little things that aren't necessarily car parts add up. I'm talking the generic nuts & bolts, cutting wheels, rattle can paint, sandpaper, etc. Not even halfway through and I have about $1500 in this **** alone. Seems like a waste but it was all needed for one thing or another.
