Going back when I was raising My son. LOL

My son was 4 years old. and I would always let him play with tools while I was working on a car.,
The one day I went for a 3/8 drive extension and I couldn't find one. Now, I had a lot of extensions. all lengths all sizes. They were gone.

I thought well I would just use a 1/2 inch drive with and adapter. Went to the drawer and they were gone. then I looked all the 1/4 inch were gone too.

I didn't want to buy any so I would borrow what I needed off of my in-laws. They had a NAPA store up the road. I asked my son several times if he new where the extensions were . He would just shrug his shoulders and say no.

The one day about two months later I was at the NAPA store and my son was along in the Tow Truck. I needed a longer extension so I went to borrow one. Dave asked, Didn't you ever find your extensions. Disgusted I said no.

When he brought the extension out my son said. I have some of them pipes. Our eyes opened up wide I said where? He said at home.

We got home and I told him to get them. He went in the shed and got out his toy Backhoe I bought him when he was watching them run the sewage. He dug for a little while and sure enough there they all were He stuck them together in a straight row. About 10 feet worth

Some were rusty and when I look at them pitted in the box today it always brings a smile to my face

Dave at the NAPA store still brings that up to him.

I have three grandsons, Two living here at my house at this time. Ages 1 1/2, Two and four. They are sneaky and I watch them like a hawk. When they peak around the corners they are up to no good. LOL.
