I have read a couple of post and I am thinking that I am going to have to modify my core support to go from 6 cylinder to V8 Radiator? if so, what are the steps? or did I just misunderstand what the post said?

My 71 duster was a 6 cyl car with a 22" rad. I had a custom 22" rad made by Smiths radiators to keep my big block cool. No mods required, direct bolt in. Get a good rad and a 22" will be fine.

thanks for reply! are you using a shroud? Bill

Yes his Rad came with an aluminum shroud. i am using an 18" black nylon flexalite 90 degree mechanical fan and a 180 T stat.

I tried to search for Smiths Radiator on the computer but no luck! do you have an email or phone number?
