Red Wheel liners
Don't know what to suggest for undercoating. Back when my Barracuda was apart for restoration, in the late '80's, I did my best to clean 20 years worth of road tar off the red plastic liners. I tried several different products but mostly used bug and tar remover. I remember it took alot of time and effort and I remember letting it soak in a while. But all my efforts did fade the plastic liners a bit. Not sure if it was the bug and tar remover, Easy Off Oven Cleaner, gasoline, or some other product I tried that cased the color fade. What ever you use, I suggest trying it out on the reverse side first to determine if there is any discoloration.
