They're a bit large, but my son wanted to make sure you can fit a 7-Eleven Big Gulp, Del Taco Macho, or large water bottle sized cup/bottle inside.
It's not attached to the floor. It just sits there. Since it sits a little snug between the bucket seats, it won't move side to side and there's enough friction keeping it from moving forward or back.
