I bought this 66 Barracuda last year on "Black Friday", best kind of black Friday shopping!
It was left in an estate with a lost title, the original owner was the grandmother of the gent I worked with to acquire the car. The car was taken off the road in the mid 80's but she put 126k miles on it before then. When she passed it was left to her son who kept it in storage and did nothing with it. He died over a year a ago so it was now up to his son to deal with it all. After 6 months of back and forth, getting the title out of archive, duplicated, then transferred I have finally and officially have taken ownership of this car. As far as the important details, its a v8, 4 speed, red interior, and I do have both build sheets. The Barracuda has been painted but is all stock and original "for now". My intent is a 60's area race car, 408 stroker, 4 link rear, true pin drive wheels, however stay true to the original style and unmistakable Plymouth features. As everyone on this sight knows these cars don't get much respect in the classic car world, well I intend to change that, at least around where I live. I have included pictures of my 4bt powered C10 because I intend for the Barracuda to match it's tow ring when finished. Thanks and I look forward to working with you all on this forum during this build, stay tuned.

Welcome aboard !! congratulations on the 66 Barracuda :) good looking Chevy sir

Welcome! Looks like a great car to start with. You'll come to learn that the early a-bodies are super platforms, but are unique and aftermarket support is slim.

Welcome aboard FABO!!

Our early a-bodies may not get a lot of respect, but they get a lot of attention every time I take mine out!!

If I'm in a hurry, I can't stop because somebody is going to walk up and start reminiscing!!

Put a 2.76 SG and another 4bt in it and haul Barracuda ***, rollin' coal style!
