Dash pad dash pad dash pad

Was the 67 different from the later ones? I bought a brand new pad for my 74 for $300 and it looks and fits great.

I am thinking of removing the padding on mine and painting it... 73 Dart Custom 4 door. My dash padding is the worst part of the car!!!

I wish the person who had my duster didn't pull it off with their foot against the dashboard and rip the thing off and bend and twist it all up and screw up my Dash. Make sure you try to take it off properly number one. But I have seen a dash cap that damn near fooled me. I think they're only like 75 bucks or something? I sure wish the guy would have left my pad on and I could have bought one of those.

Don't think just a cap would fit over what I have now properly... it's too far gone with the big crack in the foam and vinyl.

Yeah I'm thinking with the cap that may have to be knocked down a little bit but still doable. Like maybe carve off the part that protrudes past where the stock would be so it doesn't Bubble Up the Dash cover? And I'm saying not that cheap *** piece of carpet that lays up there but an actual cap that fits nicely over the dash pad.

I bought my new pad from Classic Interiors. I believe they sell the 67 pad. The pattern is unique on a 67 but you can use any 68-76 pad if your not concerned with it being original.

I used Just Dashes on a 67 Dart GT I had and it came out fantastic.

May I ask how much it cost? I watched the video they have and seems like a really good program. Just wondering what it would run me

It was a tick over 300. This was in 1995, though.

The 1968 pad is different from the 1967 and 1969-76 models. 1968 was the only year that these cars had a lower "tray" that was below the dash. The sides wrap up to the bottom of the dash pad and because of that, the 1968 dash pads have flat spots at the bottom of each side.
The 1967 does have a unique design but any year will physically fit.

My Black 68 pad was $260.00 from Classic. But if I remember I had a discount code at the time. This was 2017. Great quality.
