Quickest ever with my Valiant

Finally got my 66 Valiant, back to the track. Broke a ring and cracked a piston last year. My crank damper had slipped, and I had 10 degrees to much timing in the engine. Detonation is not good. Installed a used stock piston, and rings. Installed a new 9 1/2 inch converter, and changed from a 3.91 gear to 4.56 gear. Between life things and rain Have been waiting for several weeks, to test. Had a 60 foot time of 1.669, and 7.766 at 86.64 in the 1/8 and 12.409 at 103.02 in the 1/4. The car really hooked good, and I am only running a 7x26x15 slick. Smilling ear to ear.
Holly Smokes Charrlie !!! you have the /6 cooking  a 7.766 1/8 mile :wtf: I would be crazy happy !! :) Congratulations on a great pass and finally getting it to the track.. I wish you had a T-Shirt I could show off to my friends with a 7.766 on the front
