They need to do a little internet searching. There is a youtube of a guy running 9.09 sec 1/4-mile w/ a slant, albeit after adding a turbo-charger. Charrlie_S here recently posted running in the 12's w/ natural aspiration, and I recall he runs a 170 cu in slant. That speed can match the fastest factory Camaro, Mustang, even Hellcat & Demon.
