Use RockAuto a lot. There have been a few mistakes, usually boxed wrong. When they're wrong, I have to return it from Canada. I'm ahead big $$$, despite the few mistakes, which I have also experienced locally ...
Lordco’s selection of brands is getting worse by the year. They have managed to squeeze out a lot of the independent shops over the years and now they are dropping lines since there isn’t as much competition anymore.
Thankfully there are other options such as Rock Auto or NAPA. I bought brake rotors and pads from Rock Auto for my daily driver (exactly what I ordered arrived). Saved a bunch, even factoring in the exchange rate, and got a better quality brand than what Lordco carried. Replaced the fuel pump in my Scamp the other month. Lordco only carried a knock-off brand so stopped by a NAPA to pick up a Carter fuel pump. NAPA’s price was a little higher than the Lordco knock-off but I expected that.
