Me too.
There were many a 396 Chevelle, big-block Ford, and big-block Mopar that couldn't touch my '69 340 Swinger in the stoplight-to-stoplight drags on Whittier Blvd (SoCal) back then.
A buddy of mine called them "Jr. Varsity HEMIs".
