You will need to open up the tunnel but nothing crazy. Also need a slip yoke/U joint, which any drive shaft shop will make you. You can do it!

Thanks for the info. Have you had yours started / driven? I am looking at 6.4L with NAG1 in an Aussie Valiant. There are lots of late model transplants here but nobody I have found is using a late model auto. I don't want to use an old 3 speed auto. I will speak with Hotwire.
