I've seen these grills painted several different ways. Which is correct?

Yes the same grill but I have seen them with the face of all the fins painted silver and i've seen some with the face of the fins black and no silver. Which is correct?

Silver.....Argent to be exact

Here's my original 70 Swinger grille. 318 car though.

I always believed that the 340 cars had the black-out and the rest of the Darts wore an argent finish in 1970.

Front of fins all painted argent and grill is ready for install

Just a quick tip for ones with all thumbs when it comes to taping off trim. Picked up a couple of paint pens, at the local store in the crafts department. "Painters" so happens to be the name brand, and there are others brands. I used the tip of the pen on both edges first, and then follow up the middle. The color of the pen happens to be Silver Argent and matches, I think it would be great for touch-ups...........

I am thinking about running the paint pen on the tops of the louvers, but I like the black out......
