See, these younguns don't know about those two intakes. The Streetmaster and Street Dominator are in a different class from other single planes. They both have big plenums (the Street Dominator a little bigger) than other single planes. That helps maintain bottom end torque. They are the best of both worlds. Good bottom end with the high RPM torque of a single plane.
Sure, there are more modern intakes, but those old intakes work well for what they are.
