steering coupler

I'm getting confused. I thought you had a stock power steering box, and was trying to put a stock coupler on it. If so, line up the coupler with the master spline, and slide it on. These cars use this style of coupler to compensate for flex in the unibody. The Borgeson coupler doesn't allow for that. And it is unnecessary unless you have special considerations.


Oh, man. I worked this out a while back. I don't recall the Borgeson coupler I ended up going with. It worked very well thoigh. Actually last night I removed it. I just finished installing the Gerst tubular front suspension and it changes to R&P. It uses two u- joints and a section of DD.
