Did he cover any of the GM A833s? A guy recently hired me to put together one out of a GM FOUR WHEEL DRIVE. I had no idea they existed. "Married" transfer case. Someone bought the truck before I got it together LOL
Jamie DOES mention the GM stuff but says he won't cover it in his book. The basic transmission should be about the same though.
I just got mine yesterday from Amazon but didn't have time to read it yet. Just read the first 2 chapters. There are over 400 photos. My only slight criticism so far is some of the close-up photos could be more clear. He meticulously documents factory shifters and bell housings too.
But it's a great book, can't wait to get into it more!
It's going to be an excellent source for me as I rebuild my trannies.
