Hello from WA State - 68 Barracuda project

Hi all! Somewhat new to the site but definitely not new to Mopars. I am a life long Mopar guy and currently own 11. I was luck enough to grow up when these cars were plentiful and new or relatively new. I have to admit that I wasn't ever a real A body guy, of course I was drawn to E bodies and at times some B Bodies. That said, I have owned quite a few over the years, predominately Dusters, Demons, a Dart or two. The one A body I never had despite the one I really liked was a 67-69 Barracuda Fastback. The very first model I ever built was of exactly this car (still have the model to this day). I am currently building a 73 Cuda with a stroked 340 and 6 barrel EFI (have a build thread on CC.com). I also have a 70 Challenger RT 440 w/EFI 6 pack as well as a 70 Roadrunner that is getting a 66 426 Hemi.

I retired from the US Army in 04 after 26 years and went to work from a leading US firearms company as the head of the military division. I worked there until 2016 when I resigned and went into semi retirement. I currently do some consulting and work with a training/security company.

Recently I "fell" into a 68 FB through my upholstery guy who had purchased it at a show. Its a 318 AT w/console car that was modified probably in the 80's with mustang FB louvers and a sunroof. I really don't like the sun roof but I am not sure what I will do with it. I really want to go G3 Hemi in this car and make it a driver. I will start a build thread on here as well.
