Was watching some video's of Him and Snake racing. Forgot how much farther forward they sat in the cars back then..RIP Tom

Died in his sleep. Hid health has been on a long slow downhill slide the last few years. Saw him race many times, still remember seeing him beat Prudomme to win Indy in '78.

We made it a point to go to Pomona to see his then new "Worlds Fastest '57 Chevy". Just bought that shirt at the soggy March Meet this year. It looked to me like he had fun at what he was doing and made a decent living at it. What more could anyone ask for? RIP Mongoose.
