Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yeah not my call lol. County highway engineer is who said it
Engineer. There ya go. Unless they are something different than up here.
Local council hired an engineering firm to correct a roadway slipping issue. It was on a long bank adjacent to the river, and the shoreline was solid granite.
The first engineers said the road slipped. Like council didnt know.
Second engineers suggested
Straw bales and 1000 yards of traffic gravel. It slipped.
Third round was pushing posts/pilings into road.
Not a single one suggested drilling and anchoring a curb into the granite. The drainage foreman suggested it from day one and when it finally happened it was less money than hiring the engineers.

Its quite a job to place a culvert in an area thats probe to washout. Although rare it happens and difficult to prevent.
