The cutsie-wootsie things our kids say....

My great-aunt Gertrude was a school teacher and a spinster. Being the fact she never married, she left me some "inheritance" money which is funding a large part of my restorations. She died when I was five years-old. I never could pronounce her name, for me she was always aunt Doo-Doo (or maybe spell it Dew-Dew).

I was born with a neat freak gene. First time at the beach as a toddler, I would not leave my blanket and kept calling out "dit, dit, dit" (the word I used for dirt).

The current tongue-twister I am struggling with is the eight syllable Spanish word for water-proof coating:
