Be careful when a muffler splits on top. That occurred on my '63 Pontiac Grand Prix (stock exhaust) and caught the back seat on fire. The fire department had a hard time extinguishing the plastic burning under the seat. Later, I ended up in Tijuana, Mexico to replace the entire interior: upholstery, headliner, door panels, dash, package shelf, with a diamond-tuck pattern. Paid $150.00 US and it was finished in one day (circa 1975).
